New PhD scholarship funded

Our former MSc student Beatriz Ribeiro was awarded with a funded scholarship from Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).
She will be developing a PhD project on the neuronal function of IgLON5 and the pathological mechanisms triggered by anti-IgLON5 antibodies. Beatriz will be jointly supervised by Dr. Ana Luísa Carvalho and Dr. Luís Ribeiro, from the Synapse Biology group of Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology (CNC), and Dr. Sandra Vieira (the PI of our Lab).
